We found a web site on BSW that we wanted to buy. He told us to send all of the money to a "escrow account" at etrade. Well, we were stupid and send 5% of the funds. Then when he was suppose to deliver, he started to come up with excuse after excuse. He told me some girlfriend from 11 years ago showed up with a kid and lock up the account. Then he got his current girl friend Melody on the phone to back up the story. Non of this was true. He could not and would not give up the child services person handling the case. I wish we had seen these reviews first. When we googled his name site jabber did not come up. If it had I would have never done business with this guy. We are going to report him to law enforcement, I just do not know which one yet.
If you have been taken by this guy, please write a review and help others avoid this person. As the other guy said, I gave him a one star because that is as low as you can go.
Aaron Kastning of BSW Brokerage acted as a broker for a cleaning company for sale that I made an offer to purchase. After the deal did not go through, he has not repaid my $10,000 deposit. Later conversations with the seller revealed that he lied to both parties about the others' position,... agreement to the deal, and failure to attend meetings in order to defraud me of my deposit. We believe he forged the seller's signature on a letter of intent returned to me in order compel me to make the deposit. Collection attempts have been unsuccessful with a string of excuses, including lost checks from ETrade and accounts locked due to other legal issues. In this process, he sent me a check from his ETrade checking account that I have reason to believe was done with his knowledge that the account had insufficient funds.Show more
We went to this brokerage firm's web site to buy a web site. We found one we liked and started talking to Kastning about how to go about buying the site. First thing we had to do, according to him was to put money in an etrade escrow account. We did exactly as Aaron Kastning had instructed. Nothing happened. When we called for an update all we got from Kastning were excuses, he owner is out of town, he has an ex-girlfriend from 11 years ago with a child that has frozen all his accounts, and on and on, and on. Well etrade does not have an escrow service as we found out, and it looked this deal was never going to happen. So we wanted our money, $14,000 back. Kastning made up more excuses why the return was delayed.
This went on for about a month. He finally paid us some money through a PayPal account in another name. Suspicious right! But Aaron Kastning said he had permission to use the account because the owner owed him money. So $2,500 hit our Pay Pal account. Just as soon as it hit PayPal wanted it back. The owner of the account had no idea Aaron Kastning was nor did he owe him money. So now Aaron Kastning was using a stolen PayPal account to try and pay us off. Again more excuses.
Now he has moved with no forwarding address, phone is disconnected. His girlfriend, Melody Priest has also disconnected her phone and left no forwarding address. I believe she is complicit with him.
We were dealing with this person to do some internet work for us. Fortunately we did not pay him up front but only put a small amount down. When we called him to see how things were going, his number had been changed and he has moved from his home in Excelsior, MN to parts unknown.
We did a little bit of checking and found through the Minneapolis court system that Aaron Kastning had 9 judgments against him and 2 arrest. If you want to keep your money NEVER DEAL WITH AARON KASTNING.
NEVER DEAL WITH AARON KASTNING.
