  • Theses people are scammers and pray on the poor

I have been a customer for 11 years and spent 30 thousand dollars over the years. I tried to buy a 65 inch TV which I had already paid over $2000.00 for. I only owed 5 more payment at a $175.00 a month. I got sick and was unable to make the monthly payments on time. This was explained and I offer to make a $700.00 payment but that was not enough, he wanted the whole late payment. The manager was so nasty he said he was coming to pick up the TV because if I couldn't pay for the TV I shouldn't got it in the first place. Mind you I had bought almost $30,000 of merchandise from Aarons over the years and had never missed a payment until I got sick with only 7 payments left. In the end the TV was picked up because he didn't want to go along with a partial payment. He was extremely nasty and ready to fight with my husband because we could not understand why he wouldn't except the partial payments after I got sick. In 16 years I have never experienced a nasty manager like him. Aarons in the Edison store in New Jersey is a store I will never ever buy anything again from this store. They are scammers and pray on the poor people and sell them used merchandise that other people could not pay for and they picked up and sell for new and make thousands of dollars off of used merchandise that was returned. These people need to be investigated and the practice of coming to peoples houses unannounced needs to be stopped.
