  • Car selling scammer! Do not buy from her!

She listed a car on Craigslist, then I emailed for more information. She gets back to you with the typical scammer story. She's "in the military" and got promoted to Alaska. Doesn't want to store or pay insurance while in Alaska, so she's looking for a quick sale. I ask to see the car, suddenly it's out of state and in an "eBay warehouse" (eBay doesn't have warehouses). This was a Craigslist ad NOT eBay. I look up information on car selling scams and it describes this to a t. I googled her email, she's been running this scam for a while.

  • Do not hire these guys!

I was searching for someone to repair the molding around the top of my chimney, and I ran across an add on Craigslist San Antonio, TX. I called the number, and a guy called me back within a few minutes. He said that they were experienced, professionals, and I needed to look no further. I told the guy that I wanted a quote for the repair work needed, and he said I didn't need to call anyone else. That they were my guys for the job. Jade (Jay), the guy that called, offered to come out right away, on Sunday, Nov. 13. He said they could start on Monday, the next day. While he was here, we discussed what was going to be done (repair, replace and repaint all four sides of the molding and he gave me a price, $1,350. I thought it was too high, and he said that it would be more or less depending on what needed to be done.
Jays dad, John W. Scrivener III, replaced and repainted three of the four sides of the chimney molding. That was $1,350. Remember, he only repaired/ replaced three of the four corners. It should have cost less. We should have been charged less.
Jay gave us a price on caulking all along the fascia of our home, and all four corners of the house. Caulk, repaint, sand the corners, power wash the whole house, repair the molding around the front sloped roof, sand the garage frame on one side, and prep for paint, power wash the driveway, and patio.
When Jay and his dad, John came out the next day to complete the work, they said they needed to use our Power Washer because theirs was broken. They used our power washer, leaving dirty streaks all over the painted siding. They did not know how to power wash a house properly - they did NO prep work (spraying the house with a soap based (Chlorine and TSP) solution to loosen the dirt and grime).
The fascia was not caulked, only three of the four corners of the house were caulked and repainted two. The agreement was for all four corners. They did not repaint the front sloped roof box. They only caulked it. They agreed to do the work we asked of them to do, repairs and repaint, and they did not complete it, or the power washing (house rinse) to our satisfaction. I paid them an additional $1,300 for the work they said they had completed.
While I was talking to the guys, Jay said to his dad John. "We should make up some fliers to put on the doors of this neighborhood. I can go talk to them, and slam them!"
Basically, these guys did not complete the work, and I trusted that they had. I was indoors. They got paid, and they over-charged us. They are a rip-off team. They are not in the phone book. They aren't listed as a business!
Please advise to stay away from these scammers!
    Their Post ID: 5841528460.
Note: If you don't pay these guys what they ask, they would probably call the Police, or cause damage to our property.

I contacted Elesha regarding some last minute concert tickets. Made an offer and she accepted, stated she was out of town for her father's funeral so she couldn't collect the money. She said her husband had sold tickets on craigslist once and had the person pay half the total due before the concert and the other half afterward so the person could make sure the tickets were legit. I spoke with her on the phone, she seemed very, very sincere, genuine and like she really was just trying to sell these tickets. I sent her a MoneyGram (I know, dumb) for $300 or half the total for the tickets. She then stated that she transferred the tickets to me via Ticketmaster but I never received them in my account. She kept saying the tickets were kicked back to her and the transfer wasn't working, however, she refused to give me the order number or the email address and name the tickets were purchased under, Ticketmaster couldn't tell me what was wrong. I missed the concert. The really weird thing is she is still in contact with me, telling me she is going to give my money back. But every time I try to meet her she is busy, and she said she tried to set up a square case account to transfer the funds, but it didn't link with her bank or some crap. It been 4 days now and she has just today stopped responding to my texts. I told her she has until 5 pm today to respond or I'm going to the police and filing a report in small claims court.

so this dude is such a good liar. he told me he was going to help me get sober and that he was a rich dude from beverly hills and he didnt want to see me in the place where i was. he sold me on this idea that we could just party all day and smoke weed. my dumb ass bought it. he is actually a drug addict who lives with his parents and tried to bring me back to san marcus and fuck me in a motel six and got upset and accused me of being a heroin addict when i tried to leave. he took me back the next day when i threatened to calll the cops and then stole my purse from the house i stay at when no one was looking, containing all my money, a $400 wallet, my social security card, my id, insurance card, etc. he then hid outside for a few hours and then stormed in screaming at both of us, saying that i stole his phone and $250 from him and he wasnt leaving till he got it, he threatened psysical violence and he took my phone from me and tried to walk out with it until my roomate stopped him. he charged at both of us. my roomate was trying to let him calm down to avoid any further issues, like it wasnt already one. then after he left i saw him run off down the street, because he had hidden his car. when he was on the porch he broke one of my heels off of my shoes. later that week he came back and acted like nothing had happened, he called me on like 5 different phone numbers saying that he was sorry for the miscommunication and he didnt have my purse. i told him to shove it up his ass. i knew this guy for 3 miserable days and i know for a fact he is mentally unstable and he probably has fucked over a lot of people just like us. my situation is unresolved but i just wanted to post this incase anyone ever happens upon jay or jade.

"BEWARE!!!!!!!Same here! See Letter sent to us below: [email protected] Subject : Re: NEW 2016 HAUL MARK 7x16 CARGO TRAILER Hello, Thank you for your interest in purchasing my trailer. The trailer is a 2016 Haulmark Enclosed V-nose 7x16 trailer/atv/trailer. Is in perfect condition, no accidents/liens/loans, immaculate condition, meticulously maintained, electric brakes, no hidden problems, and much more. I have all the item`s manuals, title, documents. I am a Staff Maj. stationed at Beale Air Force Base. The price was reduced at $1,100 because I'm in a hurry to find a buyer. I need to sell it because I work in the military service and I will leave the country for a year or more. Hate to sell it but its not worth keeping insurance and paying storage fees for a year or more. One advantage is that, as a POV (privately owned vehicle) of a military employee, the trailer can be shipped to anywhere in US for free It will arrive at your address in 3 business days. To make this as safe as possible, I only want to do this through Amazon, the most reputable service online. If you're interested to conclude this purchase in a timely manner email me your Full Name and Shipping Address to open a case with Amazon. They will contact you to explain the entire procedure without any obligation to buy it or fees. Maj.Donna"

I was just emailed by the same Cindy Malkins as one of these listed scams. She sent me emails from [email protected] and [email protected] and then mailed me a check for 2750 on a dresser I was selling for $150. Her email to me was word for word, but I didn't catch it until too late because her 2nd email address went into spam so there was limited communication.

Never send money money gram or western union. You must insist on using direct bank transfer,no other method. Insist that he emails you the bank details. If he refuses, then it is a scam. Save the emails if you send the money any method.

There are a few people using the website Wallapop who are doing this type of scam. They say they cannot pick up the item, that they are sending movers, that they will send a check for an excessive amount of money, they ask that you deposit it, keep some of the money and give the "movers" the rest. The checks are fake, of course. Once I saw the check I looked up the name of this person (they are using :Eddie Dutcher, Daniel Raymond -on the envelope-, Alejandro Cautus, LAura W., Nicole F.) I looked it up and found multiple claims of people who have been ripped off. I was lucky. Be aware!! These are organized criminals.

The person from +1 (224) 855-6407 also tried to scam me out of money for my car that I posted on Luckily I googled his number and found the site. He said he would pay the asking price without even looking at the car then wanted my PayPal sign-on for money transfers and shipping costs.
