I requested a Uber driver. The driver speaks NO English! He gets lost and I arrived 20 minutes late for an interview. They cancelled the interview even after I called to let them know I was running late.
Now I'm off the clock and unable to get back on the clock fast enough. That cost me over 18.00!
I have to request another driver. Told him the story. He told me not to worry. Ha, refuses to take my route! I said where he was specifically to exit. He passed it. I asked why would you do that without asking? His reply was: the GPS said that there was a better route. No, I said. That driver took me directly north by at least five miles!
Uber specifically said in a email that they refunded the first trip. I have yet to see the money. This was on 04/25/16.
